You begin with the herd. No riding. No agenda.
In a facilitated session with free horses and a certified coach, you access a quality of self-awareness that talk therapy rarely reaches.

Step 5 - Restore Massage and spa at Samāna Spa

Your day closes at Samāna Spa, the in-house spa at Meliá Desert Palm - a space that feels entirely removed from the city outside.

It begins before the massage itself. At the aromatherapy bar, you are invited into a homeopathic-style consultation to select your essential oils - a personalised process that sets the tone for everything that follows. The oils are chosen for you, not for a generic guest.

Once in your private treatment room - overlooking the lush polo fields - your therapist guides you through a deep inhalation of your chosen blend. This is not incidental. Your sense of smell connects directly to the brain's limbic system, which governs emotions and the nervous system. The calming response begins here, before a single touch.

The massage itself combines therapeutic bodywork with the healing properties of the botanicals, working into your muscles while improving lymphatic circulation and releasing the physical tension that the morning's somatic work has already begun to surface. By this point in the day, your body has been through a great deal - the horses, the sound, the integration. The massage meets all of it.

Afterwards, you are given unhurried time in the thermal facilities - steam room, sauna, ice room, heated ceramic beds, and sensation showers - before settling into the relaxation lounge with herbal tea.

It is a complete closing. Not an add-on. The final movement of a day designed to work as a whole.
